Northshore Town Center is a 155 acre mixed-use community lying at the foothills of the Great Smokey Mountains in Knoxville, Tennessee. Retail, office, residential and leisure uses combine into an upscale environment reflective of the popular “new urbanism” style of community planning. Sophisticated living spaces, vibrant commerce and a variety of open spaces characterize a setting reminiscent of the traditional urban downtown, with all of the conveniences of living in the suburbs.

In an attempt to combat the appearance of urban sprawl while still allowing higher densities, the design of the development is characterized by mixed use buildings that allow residences to sit above retail and office space, concealing parking areas behind multiple street-front levels.
